4/2/20: Please join me on Good Friday at 12:00 (noon) on Google Hangout for the Rosary. Use the class link we used to meet for Religion 7B

3/30/20: We will meet this Thursday at 1:00 via Google Hangout Meet. Please use the class to join the 7B Religion Google Classroom.  Then click on Stream in the menu and click the link to join the video class.


3/13/20: Continue to work in your textbook on chapters 8 and 9. Do the chapter reviews while you're home. I"ll collect them once we're back in school. Do the practice quizzes using the Blest Are We site because we'll have those test once we're back.

10/30/19: Don't forget your saint! If you haven't chosen one yet, you'll have to come at social break to use the computer to find one.


10/14/19: We've finished chapter 1 test and will take chapter 2 test this week in class. If you aren't going to be here, please see me to make up missing work.

1/3/19: I haven't changed the Scripture verse for January. I will when we're back to Ordinary time.

Vocabulary test in mid January on key terms from the first units of the workbook. We'll set up Quizlet sets on Monday.

10/3/18: If you missed the chapter review please do it at home and bring it to class with you next time we meet. You may use your book, notes and/or the Bible.

9/26/18: The new and improved test on the Gospel writers is this Thursday. Look over your notes again.

9/19: Don't forget to look over your notes for your test tomorrow. It's on the gospel writers Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and on Paul as well.


9/12/18: Test on pages 24 and 26 on September 20. You must have the key idea for each writer and say something about the gospel.


9/11/18: Please finish putting key idea from each gospel in the class notes section. Complete by adding the info on page 26 to the key idea. Due Friday: 9/14/18.

4/16/20: We'll meet next week for about 20 minutes via Google Meet to set up schedules to review and edit church history papers. I have most papers now, but if you still owe me your paper, please get it to me. We'll meet online at 2:00 on Tuesday next week. I'll send message via Google Classroom

3/4/20: Update to paper timeline. Have a rough draft ready to share with your peer partner on 3/16/20. Rough draft due to me on 3/20/20. Testing is the following week so not much gets done then, thus I've moved the due date from 3/24 to 3/20.


2/18/20: First draft of your church history paper is due on 3/24/20. If you have changed your topic and I've okay'd the change, send me an updated outline of what you intend to cover. If I made changes to the outline you gave me, submit a new outline to me.

Your paper must be a least 3 pages and no longer than 5 pages. Use font TimeRoman 12. One-inch margins. Spacing: 1.5 or double-space, no single spacing.

1/4/20: You should be doing research on your Church history paper. 

​11/7/19: Test on terms in Quizlet class 8B next week on vocabulary for Teaching/Authority and for vocab chapters 1-4. Test is on 11/14.

​11/5/19: Reminder that revised Saint papers are due to me on 11/7.

​10/30/19: Presentations on your saint start on Monday. Please be prepared to share about your saint and why you choose him/her.

10/14/19: We've finished chapter 1 test and most of you have started chapter 2 test (open book). Please see me if you've missed any activities including unit reviews for 1 and 2. They must be made up during lunch/social break this week or next. We start chapter 3 this week.

9/30/19: Research Project due date after Christmas break.

Please do some research about your assigned time period. What are the main events and who are the people who had the most influence good or bad in the age you're researching.





















​1/3/19: We start Virtues and the Virtuous Life with Mrs. P this month. We've discussed virtue a bit. We look at virtue in more depth over the next month.


12/6/18: We're learning about the O Antiphons this Advent season. Ask your son or daughter to tell you about them.

11/7/18: We won't meet this week at all due to Fall Festival. We will continue our Theology of the Body discussion when we next meet.

10/5/18: Please be certain to give to your parents the parents' booklet you were given today. Try to schedule some time with one or both of your parents to talk about the content of the book. 



Letters are going home to parents in Thursday envelopes this week. We'll start Family Life proper next week, 10/5/18.
