Passive voice exercises in English
Salve! Welcome to the Latin Scholars' webpage. Updates and info will be found here.
The class is going wonderfully well. I'm pleased with the enthusiasm and drive of the students. Tests and quizzes have gone quite well--nothing lower than a B for anyone. Mr. Lathroum is working with the Archdiocesan PowerGrade contact in order to get Latin on PowerGrade. Nothing's ever easy, but I'm sure we'll find a solution soon.
In addition to working on 1st and 2nd declension nouns and 1st and 2nd verb conjugations and translations, we have started the Pater Noster (in Gregorian Chant), a comparison of Roman and Greek gods and a study of Caeser's Gallic Wars. It's all so interesting and so much fun. The class goes by so quickly!
Please check here for regular updates and notices. You may contact me at [email protected] with any questions, concerns or suggestions.
Roman aqueduct in Segovia, Spain. Construction dates to the second half of the 1st century AD under the Emperor Vespasian, but other sources say the Segovian aqueduct was commissioned by Domitian. The aqueduct continued to deliver water to Segovia well into the 20th century.
